It’s Finally Fall! I saw this lovely tag over at Sara@TheBibliophagist and just had to do it! I hope you enjoy reading my answers! An additional side note – please overlook any formatting and image size issues! My laptop has once again failed me and until I get a new one, all my posts shall be typed out on my phone, which as you may notice isn’t going well. Here we go –
IN FALL, THE AIR IS CRISP AND CLEAR
NAME A BOOK WITH A VIVID SETTING!
Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
All of Leigh Bardugo’s books have such vivid settings really! It’s so easy to picture her worlds and even more fun to read about them.
NATURE IS BEAUTIFUL…BUT ALSO DYING
NAME A BOOK THAT IS BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN, BUT ALSO DEALS WITH A HEAVY TOPIC LIKE LOSS OR GRIEF.
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
I read The Fault in Our Stars back before all the hype and I actually loved it then. Somehow after all the hype, it just lost all its charm but the writing remains captivating!
FALL IS BACK TO SCHOOL SEASON
SHARE A NON-FICTION BOOK THAT TAUGHT YOU SOMETHING NEW.
Born a Crime by Trevor Noah
I have never been a fan of Non-Fiction in general so I was quite surprised by Born a Crime. I have been following Trevor Noah for a while now and hence decided to give it a shot and I’m so glad I did. Trevor talks about his childhood in South Africa and I simply loved his outlook on life in general. He is such a positive and happy guy, qualities I’d love to embrace.
THE COLOURFUL LEAVES ARE PILING UP ON THE GROUND
SHOW US A PILE OF FALL-COLOURED SPINES!
Well. I’m at a hostel right now and have no access to my bookshelf but here’s a pic of my last book haul! No fall colored spines, but it does have a lot of blue, so just picture the sky instead!
FALL IS THE PERFECT TIME FOR SOME STORYTELLING BY THE FIRESIDE
SHARE A BOOK WHEREIN SOMEBODY IS TELLING A STORY.
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
This is the first one that popped into my mind. In the Book Thief, it is mentioned in the beginning that it is Death narrating Liesel’s story.
THE NIGHTS ARE GETTING DARKER
SHARE A DARK, CREEPY READ.
Baby Teeth by Zoje Stage
This book was freaky. Baby Teeth is a psychological thriller and it just makes you SO. Freaking. Uncomfortable. I gave it 5 stars for just how on edge it put me.
THE DAYS ARE GETTING COLDER
NAME A SHORT, HEARTWARMING READ THAT COULD WARM UP SOMEBODY’S COLD AND RAINY DAY.
To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han
Although I loved the movie more than the book, even the book is a pretty cutesy read. I didn’t like it as much in my first try but when I reread it after the movie, it was GREAT!
FALL RETURNS EVERY YEAR
NAME AN OLD FAVOURITE THAT YOU’D LIKE TO RETURN TO SOON.
A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab
I loved the Shades of Magic series! I’m still left with the third book and I would love to get to it as soon as possible.
FALL IS THE PERFECT TIME FOR COZY READING NIGHTS
SHARE YOUR FAVOURITE COZY READING ACCESSORIES!
My giant Teddy Bear, Sherlock. Yes I know its a cliche but SHHHHHHHH! Sherlock’s a cutie pie!
That was fun! Since I wasn’t tagged for this one myself, I won’t be tagging anyone either. However, if you think this tag looks fun, consider yourself tagged!
And that’s all for today! Hope you have a great day! Until next time –
