My 2 Year Blogiversary! The Blogger Tag

You read that right! I’ve had my little corner of the internet for 2 years now! Happy Anniversary to my blog!

While I have been super busy and slightly detached from my blog lately, I’m so happy I made it to two years of blogging. I honestly never imagined for a second when I started out that this little blog would last so long. I have learned so very much from this little blogging community over the past years and I really do hope my blog lasts many many more years to come.

I thought a lot about what I should do to mark this day, and finally settled on the Blogger Tag. My perspectives have changed a lot over the past 2 years so I think this would be a great way to re-introduce myself to all you lovely people. If you have any additional questions, please do leave them in the comments and I would love to get back to you ASAP.

Do you have any pets, if so what are they and what are they called?

Since I’m from a military background, my family moved around a lot all through my childhood so we could never really have a pet. If I ever do get one, I’ve always thought I’d love to adopt a dog and name him Shakespeare.

What is your favorite social media for blogging?

Why WordPress of course! I’m not really a big social media person except for the book blogging community, which is why I created this blog.

How tall are you?

5 feet 7 inches

Do you have a hidden talent, if so what?

Um. Let’s see. I can solve the Rubik’s Cube. Does that count?

What is your biggest blog-related pet peeve? 

Hmm. I supposed I’m not a big fan of bloggers attacking the view-points of one other ruthlessly. It is always possible to have a calm and civil discussion about matters that you feel strongly about.

What is your biggest non-blog related pet peeve?

People talking behind my back I suppose? If you have something to say about me, I’ll always appreciate it if I hear it straight from you and not through a chain of people.

What is your favorite way to spend your free time when you are alone? 

Reading books and watching TV! Given that I’m such a procrastinator, that’s pretty much always.

What is your favorite junk food?

Cold Coffee and French Fries ❤

If you could only drink one beverage (besides water) for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Again – Cold Coffee!

What’s your favourite movie?

A lot of people find this surprising but my favorite’s always been How to Train Your Dragon. I know its animated and I’m a little too old for it, but I just love it!

What were your favorite lessons in school?

Probably English and Biology. It’s a shame I didn’t pursue a career in either

What blogger do you secretly want to be best friends with?

Oh there are so many where do I begin! The book blogging community in general is just phenomenal!

Who is your biggest inspiration?

My mom! She’s the one who always wanted me to start a blog in the first place!

What is one of your favorite highstreet shops?

I don’t really have a preference. I do end up shopping a lot at H&M, Marks and Spencer, BHS and Red Tag so I guess that would be it!

Are you in education or work?

I’m in my 3rd year of an Undergraduate degree in Electronics and Communication. And yes, it is just as tiresome as it sounds.

Where is one place you would like to visit?

There are so many! If I absolutely have to pick one (and believe me that’s tough), I guess I’ll have to go with Paris.

Anywhere and everywhere. If I have the time and an idea, nothing can stop me!
